Since 1937, Dressta has grown to become a global manufacturer of heavy construction equipment, recognized for its powerful and durable machines for the most demanding applications, notably its line of dozers for various applications.
In 1972 Dressta, at that time known as HSW, began the manufacture of the caterpillar tractors of the IHC company –International Harvester Company- until finally in the 1980s Dressta took over that business unit of the mythical American company. This was not the only cooperation agreement in which Dressta participated, since between 1988 and 1994 Dressta manufactured motor graders and bulldozers for the Japanese company KOMATSU through the KOMATSU-DRESSER joint venture.
All of our machinery is built by experienced engineers at our factory in Stalowa Wola, Poland, a city literally translated as 'Will of Steel'.
